Susan Strasberg
Portrait of Susan Strasberg taken by Yousuf Karsh. This image was taken by Karsh in 1956, Strasberg was an American actress and writer. She died of breast cancer in 1999 at the age of 60. Susan was also the daughter of Lee Strasberg who was a director, actor & acting teacher.
Julia DeGazio
Re-make of the portrait of Sunsan Strasberg; Julia DeGazio. I decided to do a re-make of Susan's portrait simply because my subject or model, has some features that resembles Strasbergs. I must say that they do look very much a like in this image comparison and they might as well be relatives if given the chance. Julia has this fierce eyebrow shape as well as a beautiful almond shaped eyes and long lashes and Susan also have the same eye/brow shape. In my opinion I think that Julia being my model made this re-make tremendously successful, and I could not ask for anyone better. So Julia DeGazio, if you are reading this...thank you! There are some flaws in my re-make because one could not possibly copy the style and image of a professional photographers photograph and we very different devices now to take pictures compared to back in the day.
